Sub-Juniors & Juniors 2015 Competitions

Our Sub-Juniors & Junior competitive participants are representing our Club for the first time in two competitions in Melbourne.  We are so proud of these young participants and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting other calisthenic performers from all over Victoria!

Way to go!

Sub-Juniors 2014 Concert

Our Sub-Juniors were all brand new to Calisthenics in 2014.  For our annual concert, they presented five routines, each ~2 minutes long, showcasing all of their new skills!

They presented Club Swinging, Free Exercises, Rods, Aesthetics and Calisthenic Revue in which they were acting as Clowns!

Our Sub-Juniors all presented for and passed their Test 1 Pupil Skills exams in 2015.  This is a National exam system and we were delighted with their results!

In 2015, they will learn new routines in each of their items and we look forward to including new participants to this friendly team!

Juniors 2014 Concert

Our Juniors developed many new skills in 2015.  Apart from improving flexibility, strength and control of their movements, they also begin to learn more difficult use of apparatus in Club Swinging and Rods.

They learned six routines, each 3-4 minutes long.  They presented Figure March, Club Swinging, Free Exercises, Rods, Aesthetics and Calisthenic Revue in which they got to sing and dance in "Vacation"!

Our Juniors presented and passed their Pupil Skills Exams, our younger pupils in Test 1, our older in Test 2 and our most experienced in Grade 1.  This is a National exam system and we were delighted with their results.

They will continue to develop in 2015 and they will have the optional opportunity to travel to Melbourne to compete in two competitions!

St Paul's Festival 2014

In October 2014, we were fortunate to support our local community by performing at the St Paul's Anglican Church Annual Festival.

For many of our students this was their first opportunity to perform in public and we were so proud of the confidence and teamwork they displayed.

If you would like our team to support your community event, please don't hesitate to contact us.
